I'm an anti-entrepreneur - never recommend anyone to give up their day job. Entrepreneurship is a trap. Very few make it. I would say less than 1%.

I have been trapped since 2004. Can't get out. Now doomed forever.

'Trapped and doomed?' Those are harsh words. Why so glum chum? Are you not pursuing something that you feel passionate about? I feel like entrepreneurship should be about waking up everyday with a project that you look forward to working on! If your only doing it for the money it's probably not the best energy to be working from.

You are new at this, aren't you?

New at what exactly? Entrepreneurship? Nope. I have tried a few business ideas in the past that didn't fly ~for whatever reason. Sure, I've had dreams crushed before, but I picked myself back up and turned pain into lessons, changed things up and tried again. I've also been in that pessimistic slump too, we all get down sometimes, but it's up to you to choose not to stay in that energy because it doesn't get you anywhere.

Am I new at Pioneer? Kinda... But I'm grateful because without the weekly check-ins my project would probably have stayed on the back burner with other things in my life taking priority. The feedback from other members makes me look at things from a different perspective.

I'm not sure what your experience has been here on the platform, but the Pioneer Team has already reached out to me offering to review my project, but I kindly declined because I felt like I wasn't ready just yet. I've only been here for about a month or so now. How long have you been participating? I feel like whether you actualize your dream of becoming an official Pioneer or not, the journey itself is worth it!

Is your project? It's a GREAT website! I'd like to join! Why is this the first time I'm seeing this website? Are you not participating in the weekly reviews? What kinds of challenges are you facing? Do you feel like you're not receiving quality feedback that you can implement to see positive changes?

Helpfully yours, V.

I have been building tech companies and related ventures for 18 years now. A lot of failures with two exits.

I joined Pioneer on the day we launched on 1st Aug 2020. I'm here for networking. Early days it helped to be accountable. Not so much now. Pioneer from an investment point of view is not right for us, especially as I am not looking for investment and will never register my businesses in the USA.

My biggest challenge is my time. I run - trusted founder network for UK tech comapnies - intelligence on UK venture backed tech startups and investors backing them - free talent for tech startups

Plus few others that need a lot of attention.

I do take part on weekly updates - never broken once since I joined. Unfortunately, I don't always get to review others due to time constraints. I missed yesterday's reviews.

I'm no longer here for feedback as most feedback is copied and pasted by those who seem to be doing well in the Tournament. I never do this. But I am also a bit harsh which means genuine feedback and not providing feedback to win.

I'm trying to repoisition where

Techcelerate provides the know how on how to build a tech startup
SkilledUp Life provides all the talent you need.

Need some free time to work out all details.

We now have 30+ volunteers in SkilledUp Life and Deal Lite teams.

They all look really AWESOME! I am wondering for can you add an option for donations to freelancers? I just don't feel like people are going to sign up to work for free...? Lemme know! SUPER THANKS! :)

NO. We have 12,458. If you pay them, we will remove you. If they ask money, we will remove them.

You seem to miss the point of what we are doing. We are here to provide Experience to the whole world. That's it. Nothing more. If they want experience and payment, then SkilledUp Life is not for them.

People commit 1 to 3 hours per day for 3 months, which we refer as a Volunteer Term.

Most people pay to learn, Now they can gain experience FREE. We are not charging them.

Quite a lot of our Volunteers have day jobs. Most of my team does.
