love all content. a big fan of your idea. On the website and pitch deck you are copy heavy. what if you cut 1/2 the copy as an exercise? I think editing copy would be valuable. Less info to process = more and I think your attention level of users will increase. A thought to consider. · 560d ago

Really good project! Great progress update this week too. Keep it up and you'll smash those KPIs.

Maybe some social media icons on the landing page would help?

I noticed your landing page doesn't have a demo/explainer video. It might be worth adding that to better communicate your concept to any prospective users who happen upon your website.

Best of luck with achieving all of your goals for next week! (: · 560d ago

Deck is too feature-heavy. 6 - 14 can be compressed into 2 - 3 slides.

I don't have a good sense of how you fit in the competitive landscape. Why are family trees there? Digitizing old photos? · 560d ago

Hi Erik! How are things in Newton? Congratulations on the huge progress. To your question, regarding the pitch deck, here's my first impressions:

Great research - ideal for a bonafide business plan (the meat behind the the sauce)
Market opportunity is compelling
Way, way too much text. One exercise is to get rid of all pictures, start with a blank deck and try to describe each slide in one sentence.

Nice project, good luck! · 560d ago

Nice idea, · 560d ago

The report is easy to understand with the use of pictograms. I also thought the progress was good.

Btw, we're planning to host a 1:1 office hour event with an angel investor. Why don't you join us to put a pitch? It's all for free :) · 560d ago

You got to change the red font--color and style--on the white background. It looks tacky. · 560d ago

I like the concept, a lot. I think there's a real need to store these kind of memories amongst family members. Re pitch deck, I think it needs some work. It feels a bit cluttered and aesthetically could be improved. · 560d ago

The website doesn't look great on Firefox:
The pitch deck is not convincing because you glossed over the competition section. How are you different from competitors? Can't users just import their stuff into Google Photos and replicate what you are building?

Hey the idea looks cool. I would suggest you, change the style of your home landing page, looks so simple.
