One of the big advantages of playing Pioneer is getting a steady stream of feedback on your project from other founders.
Here are the principles that stood out to our team from the top feedback last week:
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
- Try the product (if you have time).
- Tap into your network. Do you know anyone who could help?
- Include both positive & constructive feedback.
- Put yourself in the shoes of the founder: How would you approach their challenges?
Interesting idea. I feel like your feedback question should be your value proposition - "A new way to learn math that is more interesting and more effective". You then need some social proof to that effect - examples, testimonials etc. It's great that you can test the product right from the home page, but I think if you embed the video above it they'll get a lot more value out of it. Love to see this work. Good luck!
Congrats on your progress and YC interview - good luck! Interested to know why you chose LI cold outreach as a strategy? Have you had much feedback? Would love to see some info on the site about what differentiates Decimals from similar products. The blog post is good, very comprehensive. It's quite long though so perhaps you could break it up with some more white space or images just to make it easier to digest.
I’ve had the app for about 15 mins or so. It's really intuitive, quite a fan of it. The colors are a bit dull, it's not quite dark mode and not quite material. It's hard to describe but the aesthetic does nothing for me. The function is good though, a dividing line between past battles and current may be useful just to offer some more visual distinction but overall it seems to function really well. I love how easy it is.
Hello! Great looking project, I'm currently consulting for a company that provides sustainable methods for plant growth, hyper efficient potting and growth systems. I will mention you to them, they need ways to test. They are also part of a global sustainability fund. I'll try to get some advice from them for you on grant applications if that could be of any use? Let me know how I can help.
I would definitely focus on professions / industries that are low-friction during the migration process (high skill / high demand), but how much focus is the question. If you know the tech sector best, maybe start there and make sure the product is incredible. Then figure out how to scale that process for other professions.
I think your landing page is quite good – don't change it too much!
