HubSpot CRM - the relentless of their sales/support team

Does anyone use HubSpot CRM FREE?

I've decided to use their free version for https://skilledup.life to keep the costs low, as I need to create multiple accounts for our marketing volunteer team. I'm a lifelong supporter of https://capsulecrm.com/?referrer=TOGQBR

But every time I explore a new feature, they hit you with support. They are quite relentless. Obviously, provide support with the intent to convert.

Anyone practice similar with their products here?

Have been using Hubspot paid version for several years and love them.
If you want to upgrade, they generally give 90% discount for first year and 50% discount for subsequent year.

+1
I'm using the 90% discount for startups and it's been great.

What functions do you use Oras?

1) Deals.
2) CRM.
3) Newsletter.

and soon I might try some advertising.

We started using HubSpot to gear up for our targeted marketing campaigns. I think the Newsletter is not free. Just started using Deals as a means of following up with who've I had meetings with.

Good to know!

Thanks but no plans to pay - free version is good enough for me at this stage. We are also partners so can authorise discounts, etc.

Hubspot coined the word.."Inbound Marketing'. They were big on content marketing and SEO. I had signed up a year ago, but did not really get into it.
Was not interested in putting all my contacts/content on their site,..rather control my own content and seo of my own site and build the email/notes capability.
But Hubspot does have a great business model..where they get their subscribers invested in them with their data so they cannot leave. The average of their subscribers end up paying them around 9k+ annually and they have reached around 100k subscribers.

They are relentless, but they are amazing at it. It's not over the top, it's just extremely efficient... I wish I'd have the time to set up a funnel like that, alas. Not yet. Their culture deck is worth checking out, it's a great read.

Chatting with a few https://techcelerate.ventures/members who also use HubSpot. I remember when Dharmesh found the company back in the day. It was all about SEO which was a hated subject of mine at the time.

Just for the reference, I founded my first Fintech in Nov 2004. Those days everyone knew each other.

I messaged / emailed (can't remember) him to get the latest culture deck, the only one you can download these days is the very old version. These days, you can only look at their current one via Slideshare or whatever, and no download option. Meh. Still, great company I'm sure to work for. Definitely an inspiration!
