Heya, I don't think I quite understand yet what your product does. It is a marketplace where advertisers can come into direct contact with the websites that they want to advertise on? Is this something that people actually want, as opposed to targeting ie. a specific demographic a la Adwords etc? Could you give me an example of how this could benefit my own company (https://headsup.site)? Thank you, and good luck :)

Yes, It's a marketplace where advertisers can curate the most relevant publishers to place their ads on and communicate a direct advertising deal. You can filter publishers by audience. This is more of a B2B tool for midsize+ ad agencies and media buyers who would like to do brand awareness, but have ability to optimize per publisher/source level - for this segment direct advertising deals is something common to skip paying 60%+ to middleman networks.

Your website may benefit by curating startups/tech magazines to advertise on and then buy/negotiate direct advertising deals with their ad sales team/owner.

Alright, good explanation, I understand.

Hey, love the concept of reciprocal links! Hope you take it to the next level (LinkExchange for Pioneer Payers :)). Are you familiar with AdEx? I see you use some crypto language in your marketing pieces, so maybe? Love the transparency on all things Brandadvisor, but surprised your advisors are ok with having Cap Table and Financials free for everyone to see. Would love to hear how you resolved that? Thanks!

Yeah, I think Pioneers can vouch links to relevant startups in their blogs and support each other.
Yeah, we're from the same country, we've met. They are ahead into blockchain smart contracts adoption.
Our current focus is really to gain product market fit on the existing advertising ecosystem before we can consider smart contracts, but we are huge believer - in 2016 we've started as Transparency Advertising Marketplace :)... The product market fit showed we need to simplify and clarify and I think we'll end up with Brands Advertising Marketplace, so it's simple to understand our segment is Brand Awareness Advertising SME/Brands/Media Buyers/Ad Agencies.

I have graduated Founder Institute few years back and this year the FundingLab program..
Since we're a bootstrapping startup with no investments, it's like our startup resume for accelerators till we get into 1 :)

BTW I'm currently trying to launch Amazon Alexa Skill for Brandvertisor :) Let's chat more, I believe voice is the next big environment market adoption! We're currently building up Podvertisor.com - Podcasts Advertising & SPonsorships Marketplace :)

I'm really not sure who is supposed to be the customer in the marketplace?

Podvertizer.com · 453d ago

SMEs, Brands, Media Buyers, Ad Agencies who spend $20k+/m for brand awareness advertising.

Congratulations on your progress this week! Based on the your updates, it seems like you’ve got early traction in getting your business to market and have a number of investors that allow you to work on this full-time. As feedback, I think a lot of your updates are on the growth and admin side of the business. How’re you currently doing with your product? It might be good to highlight this more in your updates.

Podvertizer.com · 453d ago

Thanks! Still not gaining significant traction, but more doing tests all over the place, but hopefully in the next few months we will find 1-2 KPI & rev streams.
You're right, as I'm not developer and more with marketing background and I just can advice the team on UX, I've tend to talk more about what I understand. On development side, we've made some great database cross-matching search functionality which helps media buyers to compare results immediately. Next we're launching new beta with enhanced profiles from current top 5k to top 100k websites by Alexa rankings.

Awesome work so far. One question though, why is your focus at this point on PR and journalists?

Podvertizer.com · 446d ago

In few weeks we're launching new beta so we need PR coverage after to reindex the whole website and rank better in Google all the 100k pages.

Great progress. Trying to understand what kind of feedback you actually want though.
