One of the big advantages of playing Pioneer is getting a steady stream of feedback on your project from other founders.
Here are the principles that stood out to our team from the top feedback over the last week:
- Include both positive & constructive feedback.
- Tap into your own knowledge and experience. Is there anything you could share that would accelerate the founder’s progress? Do you know anyone who could help?
- Put yourself in the shoes of the founder: How would you approach their challenges?
- Imagine you’re the target user. Would you use the product? What’s confusing?
- If you identify a problem, make specific suggestions.
One big goal - review all the Pioneer feedback I've received and given, pull out the useful stuff and set up an action plan for the year!
I'd concentrate on the front-end of the marketplace, manually convert whatever is sent to you especially from email. If you set up a unique email address you can always put an automated service behind it later.
Tech sounds very exciting. Site needs minor work.
Minor typos "ID Authenticatin" in 2 places on home, "saftey" in sub-head.
About Us page has missing img
If you're interested in African connections, https://vibranium.id/ are in Pioneer as well, have been on calls with them.
MaskDetection video confused me - is it responding to your mask being off by doing an annoying voice?
Hey, congrats on the production wins. I completed your survey. Regarding the video, I realize it's a mvp (everything we do is MVP :)), but you may want to take a look at it every-night, take notes and either use https://modfy.video/ to trim it or start from scratch. It is a lot of work getting the first one out, but tends to be easier making the first edits to improve usability and, ultimately awareness/conversions
I just signed up.The promise is huge - so huge that I wonder if the use cases transcend the developer universe. I know you didn't ask for specific feedback, but more only comment is a clerical one. Your site is awesome and clearly states the pain and potential. There's a missing keystroke/typo "you" should be "your" under "Interactive" (no anchor). I type reasonably fast so sometimes miss the R myself :D
Enjoy the next week off; we had a more relaxing go at it, too! I highly recommend "work adjacent" stuff -- things you think might be fun but put off. For us, that's sometimes making YouTube videos or trying our own product. Or, maybe, some "Invest Like the Best" podcasts.
Props on volume strength!
re Discord chat- Create weekly engagement topics, find reasons to identify power users for early positive feedback loop
Congrats on the killer Reddit traction! You've probably seen, but great tips for your strat: https://latecheckout.substack.com/p/the-guide-to-unbundling-reddit
I also really like your tagline. But then your site feels so cluttered in comparison! And I don't completely know why I'm there! I'd describe value prop before dropping me into the product.
I read Wirecutter, multiple review sites, and some YouTube (MKBHD)
