Syncy - customer conversations on demand

Howdy Pioneers!

I am Imran, and I am excited to announce the launch of Syncy (, a marketplace where founders can book calls with target users in order to validate their startup idea.

The problem: This is actually our second idea. In working on our first idea (a website plugin) we kept running into a big problem: it was hard to talk to potential customers. We tried a lot of strategies, like walking into local small businesses, offering to build websites for free on Craigslist, and of course, posting in the Request Feedback forums. All of these methods either took too long or did not yield high-quality conversations. We needed a better solution. So we built it.

Our solution: The founder searches for users who match their ideal customer persona, and then books a time on the user’s calendar for a Zoom call. It’s that simple. The fee for the founder is $25 for a half-hour Sync, and 100% of that goes to the target user (eventually we will have to take a small fraction to cover costs, but we will worry about that later…).

Our asks:

If you need to validate your startup idea, book a Sync with a target user in about two minutes. Please try it out and send us your feedback.
Apply to become a target user - there’s no test or essay, just enter your email and LinkedIn. Once accepted, you’ll get paid to talk to other interesting founders - which we think is a pretty great deal.
Please email me at if you have any questions or feedback, and thanks in advance for all the pioneers' love.

Best of luck to everyone on your startup journeys!

Keen to see your progression over the next 12 months Imran. Building a tech startup becomes a bit easier if you have a readily accessible community. This is something I learned over the years.

When I was building back in the second half of 2020, I didn't have to worry about customers. I just made the solution available free to my tech founder community (

When I built in 2015, I didn't have a ready-made community. Secondly, the market was not ready for us.

I like your idea. I have seen many others trying to launch similar propositions over the years. How are you acquiring the users? Are you giving each user the option to earn as well as subscribe? Or are you going for two-sided model where a user cannot play on both sides? Keen to understand your model.

Wish you all the best.

Hey Manoj,

Yes, a user can be both an earner and a subscriber as well. We are sourcing early adopters from startup communities. So founders can screen other founders. Thanks for your wishes. We would love to have you as an early adopter. You can sign up for free and get matched with founders. If you find a match you can book calls as well.

Applied to be a target user - I'll take $25 to help your founders and try to convert them to customers for where they would pay me £30/months. Yeap works for me. Just applied.

You are welcome to sign up to and build a free talent team to acquire founders.

Actually, I got one customer from a similar product where you earn Karma points instead of money.

That sounds like a plan. We'll get your profile live soon.

Can you also share a calendly or similar link for a 30 min meeting so founders can book calls with you? You can send it on my email
